Cities Seeing WiFi Zones as
Destinations
By
Rong-Gong Lin II, Times Staff
Writer
LA Times reports once a gloomy neighborhood of
boarded-up storefronts, downtown Fullerton,
California, has enjoyed a revival over the last few
years but is still in need of a key ingredient: more
people. City leaders believe technology may
prove one way to draw them in. In February,
Fullerton began offering free wireless Internet service
over 24 blocks in the city's core, a project financed
with $50,000 from the redevelopment agency and one that
proponents hope will lure people - and their spending -
downtown.

Engineering Teams at Improving Tomorrow are working
with manufacturers to place computers in the car;
printers in trunks, accessible USB Ports in the dash,
Navigation Systems, Audio Systems, and so on...
that are built-in and user friendly while driving.
We are looking forward to the next generation of cities
where internet zones are available to all, whether
driving or walking. We look towards the future and
salute the city of Fullerton for this achievement.
When I was growing up, washer and dryer hook-ups were
all the rage. Now consumers are beginning to
expect their new homes will not only be wired for
communications and entertainment, but also will include
some of the basic hardware. When it comes to
software, many turn to CHAD, our Central Home Automation
Director. CHAD provides automation and lifestyle
automation features that take you beyond "Home
Automating".
Don't just sit back and watch technology evolve
around you, get more out of your home computer and
internet connection. See how easy and affordable
CHAD is by visiting us at www.ImprovingTomorrow.com today!

HIGH TECH HOME -
CHAD Featured in National
Television Broadcast
|
CHAD was
referred to as “A High Tech Home” that would
make the "Jetsons green with
envy!"
The
broadcast emphasized CHAD’s ability
to:
Provide
home surveillance that can capture and store
images on the web for you; send text messages
when motion sensors detect activity at your
home; search the internet for your favorite
television shows and send you reminders;
announce to you (with a voice) important dates,
incoming telephone calls, guests arriving at the
door, and errands you need to
run.
With the
use of your existing PC and inexpensive modules
that plug into the wall, you can control your
home’s thermostat, backyard lights, interior
lighting, and stereo system to name a few.
All this for an affordable
price!
